You set the pace
You rate the friction. You choose the step size. Nothing is decided for you.
Built for neurodivergent inclusion · Early preview · Open source
myelin is built around neurodivergent inclusion: tools that adapt to how your brain works, instead of asking you to adapt to them. Tell it how heavy today feels, break it into tiny steps, and take the first one.
This part works today, right in your browser. Nothing you type here is sent anywhere. It stays on this device.
How heavy does today feel? Drag or use arrow keys.
Write the thing that feels too big. Then list the smallest possible steps. Start with "take a breath" if that's where you are.
A plain timer. Pick a length that feels doable, not ambitious.
Some things are easier when someone is just there. Your companion stays with you while you talk, journal, study, or untangle something hard to read. It won't rush you.
Not in a session.

How are you, really?
Set a topic, then start a session on the left. I'll stay with you and check in.
What this does: it swaps common jargon for plain words, splits long sentences into shorter ones, and flags long words to look up. It follows fixed rules. It does not understand meaning, so it can't explain a concept yet. That's coming with the AI companion.
Honest note: this companion is scripted. Its replies come from a fixed set of calm lines we wrote, picked by simple keywords. It doesn't understand you the way a person would, and it isn't AI yet. An AI companion is coming. Your messages, journal and notes stay on this device.
myelin brings two Unmute1AI projects together, Neche and Myelin, in one app. Most productivity tools are designed for one kind of brain and treat everything else as a problem to fix. myelin starts from the other side.
You rate the friction. You choose the step size. Nothing is decided for you.
No streak guilt, no red warnings, no "you failed." A hard day gets smaller steps, not a lecture.
We want to build myelin with neurodivergent people and the people who support them. Tell us what would help, and it shapes what we build next.
The full product is still being built. Here's the plan, labeled honestly.
One turn. One step. Less friction. You say how the day feels, and it suggests how big the next step should be.
Overwhelming days broken into tiny, doable steps. Small steps, real progress.
A quiet space built for your brain. Today it's a simple timer. Sound and dark-room options come later.
A calm companion for talking, journaling, studying, and making hard text simpler. "I'm here. No pressure." Scripted today, AI companion coming.
Progress views that adapt to your energy, not the other way around. No streak guilt. Not built yet.
Phone, tablet, desktop, watch, and offline support are the goal. Today the preview runs in a web browser.
We'd rather tell you exactly where things stand.
If you're neurodivergent, or you support someone who is, we'd like to hear what would actually help on a hard day. Email us and we'll add you to the updates list.
